We are a family of 4: Can you offer us a private tour to Saona island?
For very small groups such as yours, it's difficult to offer an affordable private tour since one of the nicest parts of this tour is sailing on a huge catamaran to the island or back, and these large catamarans would be prohibitively expensive for a small party such as yours. However we can offer two types of "private tour" to Saona:
- To make the Saona tour more private, and to reduce the time spent in the bus, we can offer you a private van with a/c and driver to take you from your hotel to Bayahibe beach where the catamarans and speedboats to Saona depart from. This would save you a huge amount of time, as the drive just takes over an hour, whereas if you book a group tour to Saona, with all the hotel pick-ups etc, the drive can take up to 2 and a half hours each way. Once in Bayahibe, our driver will take you to the catamaran or speedboat for the group tour to start. And you would return with him at the end of the day.
- We can organize a private speedboat there and back, there would be no catamaran, but this would give you more time on Saona!
